Mary Poppins "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the release of Walt Disney's Mary Poppins, I was commissioned to oversee and execute a number of kinetic typography animations of classic songs from the film. In the typographically abundant "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious", I provided the design, illustration, animation and concept. A stylistic exploration of Edwardian motifs seen through a prism of the 1960s, it presents an array of imperial ambition against a backdrop of frenetic, lurid optimism.
