After building a successful client relationship with Deep Silver, my team was enlisted to launch their anticipated upcoming game "Homefront: The Revolution". The campaign invites players to wage guerrilla war against a brutal occupying force, igniting a revolution in the process. Introduced by "Thank You", an acclaimed cinematic tentpole trailer released at Gamescom, the campaign would encapsulate a complete brand strategy and marketing plan, including a new website and native app activations.
As I collaborated on strategy for the initial pitch, I also led creative teams through ideation and visual production. My team's efforts included three fully-scripted and storyboarded tentpole concepts, a complete go-to-market strategy and campaign, and the creation of a deeply detailed alternate history to lead into this new dystopian future.
With my team of fellow writers, editors and gameplay artists, we created three gameplay trailers to illuminate the world. Themes were timed to match beats in the campaign of world intro, mechanics and story.

Under my direction as lead creative, our development team created a responsive website and native app to not only generate awareness and incentivize new fans, but also to serve as a content and consumer framework for future Deep Silver releases.

Our native app incorporated geo-location capabilities to reward fans for visiting retail locations like GameStop, Best Buy and Target in the US, and retailers around the world via a multiple-language global web-based CMS.

Beyond messaging for multiple platforms, I oversaw global creative coordination across four time zones and multiple languages. Upon release, my co-directed "Thank You" trailer set the stage and surpassed goals by winning a coveted Microsoft first-party status at Gamescom. Acclaim for the trailer has been nearly-universal, with assertions that "Thank You" was the best trailer of the crowded Gamescom schedule. Views across platforms reached 1.5 million in under a month, and viewership continued to climb, eventually winning an IAC Award for Outstanding Online Video.
